Time for some more drawings! I feel like calling them doodles is more accurate, honestly. Regardless, I played with a few new ideas this week to varying levels of success.

Mostly, I just doodled whatever came to mind at the time. I practiced people and mostly focused on the faces. I tried to switch up the style a few times to keep trying new things.

One idea I had was to depict people I knew very well from memory without looking at them. I chose two very good friends of mine, one of whom is also my partner and one of whom I've known for over a decade. I know their wardrobes and defining features very, very well, so it was easy to make them cartoonized. I would love to try a more realistic version some day, but that is a challenge for Future Kevin, not me.

I'm moving on to working on my picture a day challenge after this, but will return to digital drawing after I reach a significant stopping point on that project.
